I have worked on this foster home for over 47 years. I have never in my whole entire life seen so many unhappy children, on one place. The children cry all the time. One cries more than the other.
I write to you because the rule the Government have introduced, is more than wrong.
You cannot take these small aboriginal children from their parents in this age, and get them to behave like white people. We are all brought up different, so it should also be okay for an aboriginal family to live, as they are now accustomed to, without the government should interfere and take their children from their parents, and do them to something they not are
But the worst is that we must pick up the children. To poke them a lie, because they have to go with two strangers women and later dragging the children up on a car, and drive away, and the children have no idea what is happening. You cannot do all this because a child has a “wrong” skin color or a different accent. It hurts so much to see all the children suffer. To hear them cry themselves to sleep every night, hurt so much in my heart.
