I feel a sensation of happiness every time I’m with Caleb and it’s difficult to describe my love for him, nevertheless we’re still great friends. I really hope that some day I will get the courage to tell him how I feel, without him finding it odd.
We are on a short vacation in London, just the two of us, and we have decided to go shopping. It’s a bright day with no grey clouds in sight. The pedestrian streets are very crowded, and we’re struggling to keep up with our shopping schedule for the day.
Then suddenly the crowd moves, and the tension tells me there is something big going on. I look Caleb in the eye and grab his hand, we have to go see this sudden event. I start to push through the roaring crowd, of relatively young people, gathered in the middle of the city centre, with Caleb at my heels. Every step I take towards the event withdraw more excitement. Then I stop, I’ve reached the centre. I step out in front of a short, wrinkled, old lady, aware that I’m blocking her sight. Caleb is right behind me, and I drag him out front so he can get a better view at the occurrence.
