I think that it is a rather difficult question to answer. First of all it’s hard for me to relate to for example love between two cultures, although I have an opinion about it, but I would not be able to stand in their place, and look at it from their perspective. That does not mean you do not have any experience, because everyone has at some level experienced love. It does not have to be love like in the movie “Romeo and Juliet” it could just be a friendly comment or a compliment, because that is enough to show that you care for another person.
At some level I think love does conquer much, but it depends on your background and your environment you are from. In the movie “Romeo and Juliet” they are forbidden to be together, but that only makes it more interesting. It is not possible to take love away from a person, because it is a natural part of us that we cannot live without. Love is an indefinable institution. On the one hand it is like poison for you, because when you have already fallen in love with somebody, it is almost impossible to turn around. In the beginning of every relationship it is so unreal. It almost feels like you are on drugs half of the time, and the other half you miss your beloved. At this part you are blind in love, or drunk, and also where you make some impulsive decisions. At this stage, I believe love does conquer almost everything, but it takes a lot to open a newly in love persons eyes. That is also why it is so hard to break out of an abusive relationship. You might see the problem, but your love for your partner is just too big to be a sensible thinking person. This is also why you say love and hate walks hand in hand.
