The Ku Klux Klan: History, Symbols, and Racism

so, my main topic is Rights, and under that subject I have chosen to talk about the organization.

I’ve chosen this topic because I think that it includes many important topics. I mainly wanted to talk about racism, but in my opinion that’s a very big and large topic to talk about in only 5 minutes, so I’ve tried to find a smaller topic.

and considering that we today hear so many black based organizations, I find it very fascinating to talk and learn about the klu klux klan.

The Ku Klux Klan is the largest and most famous secret terrorist organization anyone has ever owned. The Klan’s purpose was to restore white supremacy after the American Civil War. The inequality between the white and black people, begins all way back in the 1600’s where the Americans used the Africans as slaves

The klan was first brought in 1865. it was six old veterans, that meet secretly in Tennessee where they agreed to form a group called the Ku Klux Klan

The klan spread fast but in 1868 the leaders closed the klan, saying that the Klan didn’t have the same aims as before. The original aims were that they wanted to scare the black inhabitants while entertaining themselves.
