Racism is a theory, which has the purpose of keeping the different kinds of human races separated, or even worse unequal. It can be because of fear or hate. We can see racism everywhere and every time. When you google “racism”, you get 25.200.000 hits. There are lots of movies dealing with the issue about racism for an example American History X. They certainly have no respect for colored people and they treat them with disgust. Many people have issues about colored people and think that they should have special laws for them. I cannot understand that kind of people. If you have some kind of racial problems you should keep them for yourself. There are lots of organizations fighting against racism but there are also a lot for it. Like Ku-Klux-Klan. They are exercising white power and racism and so on. After the American Civil War they established the organization and they had 4 million members in the 1920’s! Luckily there are only 6 thousands official members now. But it is 6 thousands too much. We are lucky to have Amnesty International who is right now fighting for equal rights. Back in the days there were even special busses for black people. In the movie Goodbye Bafana you had to if you were black to have your passport with you everywhere, cause if you did not you could get arrested. About that time they were afraid that Mandela would make a revolt and then he got in prison. What they did not knew or ignored was that he was supporting non-violence. His only mission was to get equal rights for the black people.
