1: What has been your experience with English in school and outside it until now?
Well, at the beginning of my primary school, English was a very challenging subject for me. I had a lot of difficulties with my pronunciation and my reading ability. Later I got new teachers and I began to gain more interest in the subject. I felt, the better I got at the grammar, pronunciation and English accent, the more I started to enjoy the subject. I improved a lot and got more motivation, which led to me becoming a grade A student.
In a way, English has also been a part of my life outside of school times. For instance, when I travelled, I was not aware of the local language, English became handy. All the movies and series that I watch are almost also in English. I mostly read English books as well when I feel like it. So, the feeling of being at the bottom and eventually hit the top is inexpressible.
2: Interests
What are your hobbies and interests? What do you like doing, reading or watching?
So, I like reading books in English but also enjoy watching series and movies for entertainment. I prefer to see movies and series in English rather than Danish. I alternate between reading and watching television. When I watch television, I enjoy genres as crime and horror. I cannot express why these two genres interest me the most, but I do not get bored of them.
