Internettets betydning og ADSL-monopol i Danmark

I have been using the Internet for almost four years now. In the beginning, Internet was installed in our house for the sole purpose of finding information about various things, but as time went by, gaming became more of a priority and nowadays I use the Internet for pretty much everything.

I’m online 24 hours a day and I can do whatever I want to, with some exceptions of course.

It's not the smartest idea to hack the police database or maybe the Pentagon. Those sort of skills are not really my specialty anyway though, so let’s just forget about that. Internet for me is everything. I keep myself socially up to date, with my friends via chat rooms and such things.

At the moment I play in a clan called ‘loco cows’. We play on the Internet and I have a lot a fun doing that. The game is called ‘Action Quake’ and is a multiplayer based game. When there are four people online in our clan and ready for a match, we send a message out to several chat rooms resulting in more than hundreds of people reading our match request. After not too long a time we usually got an opponent. The next thing we have to do is to get a free server. A programmer has made this problem easier than you can imagine, so after a few presses on the keyboard, all the free servers will be listed.
