Great to hear from you again and good to hear you’re having fun.
Your new hobby sounds really nice, it’s super cool. I haven’t tried it myself yet, unfortunately.
But now when you tell about it, I must try it!
Well, now to my story – my hobby is soccer, that’s not as exiting as rafting, but its fine for me.
I play a lot of soccer and it’s going pretty well after my own mind. I play at top level; despite I’ve only played for 5 ½ years.
My interest for soccer started in 2002, when I lived in China with my family. The World Cup was being played in South Korea and Japan, and that’s right beside China, so you couldn’t help noticing it.
I got back to Denmark later that year. I started playing soccer at the local soccer club. I wasn’t good at all to start with, but I learned it. I got better and better. Then after playing 2½ years in the local club, I didn’t feel like I could improve more by playing there, so I changed club, to Helsinge. They were a pretty good team, and the coach was great. He saw my talent from the start and knew exactly what to do to improve my skills. It went fast and I started scoring more goals and other clubs started getting an eye on me. After a tournament in Jutland I got an offer from a top club, it was like a dream come true. Now I play for that top soccer club, and I still love playing. We have practice 3-4 times a week and play matches in the weekend. We practice Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after school. The name of the club I play in is FC Nordsjælland. I play there together with 2 of my best friends, [NAVN C] and [NAVN B]. Actually 2 weeks ago they offered me a contract that counts over the next 2 years, and I’ll get paid for playing. That only makes it a bit more fun.
