I think it is very important to travel when you’re young, because you learn a lot more when you’re young. You get to know the different cultures and religions. And when you’re young, you’re not that prejudiced. You’re a lot more open to try different things. I know, with myself, that I’m a lot more critical, than I were a couple of years ago.
When you travel abroad, you get to try new things. Eat some food you’ve never tasted before, do something you’ve never done before, or meet some people who are a lot different than you. If you go to a warm country, you can play in the pool, and maybe get a little tan. And at last, my favorite thing to do, go shopping! It is always fun to go see what the trend is in another country.
If your family or you don’t have much money, you can travel on a budget. In my opinion, you don’t have to stay at a really nice expensive hotel. I think it’s OK, if there is just a bed and a toilet. When I’m on vacation, I’m only in my room at night. I haven’t paid for a vacation, to just sit in my room. I want to go out and experience things. And sometimes, if you wait until the last minute, you can get a really cheap plane ticket. And you don’t have to go to Hawaii to go on a nice holiday. And a trip to Sweden can be really nice too.
