Bullying takes place everywhere, and all over the world.
Unfortunately that is a fact that we can’t deny, even in this modern society.
But what is bullying exactly? And what can we do about it?
When I think about it, bullying comes in different forms. If you’re the victim you can experience being called names, being frozen out of a group, class or work place, being shoved around, receiving text messages or e-mails with spiteful messages etc. The list can be very long, also with the reason why you’re being bullied in the first place. When you’re the victim, whether it’s over a long period of time or short period of time, it can have a great impact on your selfesteem. Even years after the bullying have taken place.
In addition to that, I also want to describe a bit about the bullier.
They can have a very self-confident appearance, however I don’t think that seems to be correct. Knowing that, it is quite a strong statement I claim that,
it is easier to be the bullier, than being the one who is being bullied.
To sum up, I want to describe the significance in taking share of the responsibility. In the first place, you can not only blame the bullier, similarly to the bullier there is the silent minority. That’s why I claim that each and every one of us, as the individuals that we are, should take the responsibility.
