Making clothes in different parts of the world has good things and not-so-good things. When clothes are made globally, it helps make them cheaper for people to buy. We get to have many different styles and designs because different places are good for making different kinds of clothes. Also, using machines in some places helps make clothes better.
But there are some problems too. In countries where making clothes is cheap, workers might have a hard time with bad working conditions and not getting paid much. Also, making lots of clothes this way can be bad for the environment, causing pollution and using up a lot of resources. Sometimes, the people making the clothes might not be treated fairly.
On the other hand, making clothes locally, closer to where we live, can be good too. Workers might have better conditions and get paid fairly. This way, we can also help the environment because we don't have to move clothes around the world, which can cause pollution.
But there are issues with local making too. It might cost more, making clothes a bit expensive. We might not have as many choices in styles and designs compared to when they are made globally. And sometimes, we might not have all the materials and skilled workers nearby, limiting the kinds of clothes we can make.
