My main topic is teenage life, and my own topic is teenage gang related crime in London.
I chose this topic because it's a very interesting, but serious up to date issue that affects many young people today. People who could be our classmates, neighbors or friends
For many teenagers, friendship means loyalty, but sometimes, that loyalty can lead to violence, crime, or even death.
Teenage gang-related violence is a serious and rising problem in London.
Every year, young people are drawn into a dangerous world of knives, drugs and fear.
But why is this happening? And what are the consequences, not just for teens, but also for communities and their families?
Why teens join gangs
There are many reasons, why teens are drawn into gangs
Some join because of problems at home or social struggles.
Some want to feel safe. Others want money, respect or even revenge
Economic struggles and family problems
Gangs can be an easy way to earn quick money.
If you’re a teenager living in a poor area. With few and low paying job opportunities. and you don’t have a strong support at home, gangs can seem like a way out.
Maybe your parents aren’t around, or you’re not feeling loved and guided.
