This summer, a TV station in San Francisco claimed the right to show the execution of the double killer Robert Harris. The campaigner, who supported it, believed that the horrific scenes would turn more people against the strong penalty. Other persons thought it would make the killers into “small screen superstars”. That would make the viewers of the scene into fans of the awful scenes.

The article is about a mum who has 2 sons. Both sons are on the Death row. She is named Jacqueline Downs. Her oldest son, Ernest, was found guilty of a cold-blooded contract murder. After that Jacqueline joined the legion of American mothers whose children faced the death penalty. She got a heart attack, while she was so shocked. Three years ago her youngest son, Bobby, killed his wife in a jealous rage, and Jacqueline became the first women in America to have two sons on death row.

Now Bobby and Ernest are on the same death row. They are just few yards apart from each other. Jacqueline admitted that the two boys weren’t angels, but she assured that she always would love them. When Ernest was sentenced to death, Jacqueline thought it was the worst thing that could happens her in her life. But when Bobby got the same position as his older brother, the penalty was much worse to Jacqueline.
