I am going to write about question nr 4, why does the title “All My Sons” suit the play so well also discuss with special reference to Joe, Larry and Chris.
The play is called All My Sons because Joe Keller is calling all the guys in the war his sons in the end. He have also as much responsibility for the soldiers in war as the U.S government had. He sold the plans and he shipped them off, in the state of knowing that they were damaged, which is why the play is called all my sons. Also on page 170, Keller says;” Sure he was my son. But I think to him they were all my sons. And I guess they were, I guess they were”.
Both off his sons went to war, and only one came back. That was Chris Keller and Larry Keller died in the war. He killed him self after hearing what his father had done. He would not live when his father helping the enemy kill the other soldiers by giving them unfixed airplanes.
When Chris comes home from the war, his father has a guilt and ant to do anything for him and give him everything. He tells Chris that it wasn’t him that shipped those damaged plains and told him that it was Mr. Deever his partner that had done it. And he believed his father, Chris couldn’t believe that his father would do such thing. He was his only son now and he loved his parents very much till the end, were his father killed him self, instead of going to jail. Also in the story it refers to that Larry and Chris are his sons, and because of his mistake he lost one sons and did not want to loose another, so he would do anything to keep. That is what the story about, his sons and all they other sons.
