Skiing in Canada: A personal travelogue from Downfort

Many European do always choose a European country when they decide to go on a skiing holiday.

I would prefer Canada as a good skiing place.

December 19th did the most of Denmark got holiday. We decided not to celebrate Christmas at home so my family and I packed our bags and skies and took the airplane to Downfort in Canada. We went down to Canada and when we landed in Downfort Airport did a bus driver drive us to our hotel in the eastern part of the city. It was hard to sit in an airplane in 23 hours and we were very tired. But when we saw those big Mountains and big woods did our holiday start shining. When we got our rooms in our hotel and got our bags packed out decided we to go for a walk in the area around the hotel. When we came home I was very impressed by the beautiful landscape around in Downfort. Big mountains, big woods, big cars everything was big in Downfort. It was not only a skiing place it was much more.

Next day we went skiing in a 4 kilometers high mountain. I have never seen such a big mountain as that. Again was I very impressed of this beautiful place.
