Dear Mrs. Adams,

My name is Mette Juul and IÕm 15 years old. I have seen your advertisement in the paper, and I got

pretty exciting. I have never been in Britain, but I would like to, because I think it is a fascinating

country. I ones had an uncle who lived there and loved it, so I would not be surprised if I got to love

it too.

IÕm on a boarding school right now, but I think it would be interesting to go one more year, and

even more interesting to go one more year in another country like Britain.

In the advertisement you wrote about the high standards at your boarding school. You also wrote,

that I have to have good marks in English, Math and French. I have had French for two years, so

IÕm doing fine about that. My abilities in Math and English are also okay, but I hope a year on your
