Before I begin, I would like to tender my thanks to all of the people who have come here tonight. Have you ever heard the expression: Before you turn away, put yourself in my place. I asks everyone to imagine oneself homeless with their message: Before you turn away, put yourself in my place. True way of creating awareness is making sure people identify with the cause and plight of the homeless.

Most homeless people have become accustomed to life on the street. Some homeless people staying in residential institution. But they do not get much sleep in the eyes when they must share space with ten- twenty others. Homeless people would be more than happy away from the street. It is hurting easy for us to think that the homeless should take him in the neck and do something about things. If you have work, home, car and telephone, but that does not mean that homeless people have the same things. The homeless life itself is so stressful that strength and confidence fades away. Many lose courage. Where can they go and find help? Who will bother to listen to them? Losing his home is also to lose dignity, influence and rights. Suddenly you belong to the poorest and numerator no longer powerless in society. But there are a large majority of homeless burns after a house they can call their home. but once they are on the street, there is often no way out of misery.
