In Denmark we live in a welfare system, which should secure every human living kind from being homeless. Despite the system there are still 5.253 homeless, where 11 percent of them sleep on the streets. Even though they are called homeless, they still get social security. Homeless people that are illegal immigrants are not permitted social security, and they are actually living like homeless in USA, to be more exactly: Under horrible circumstances.
In America there are 3,5 million people sleeping on the streets. They live for maximum 5 dollars a day. The primary factor for homelessness in USA is the liberal society. There is a huge gap between poor people and rich in USA. But in Denmark we have a socialist society, which should secure that you are permitted social security, if you don’t have any valuable belonging.
What is the reason for homelessness? In many cases the reason is abuse of drugs and alcohol, which mostly leads to a bad childhood in a tough environment. Some people actually think that it can happen to anybody, if you make the wrong investment move, or if you owe big money to the bank.
