The Coconut

Once upon a time there was a coconut called Coney, who was sleeping in her coco palm, when it became a terrible tempest, the coco palm sacked from side to side, little Coney felt down from the palm and fainted. The next day she woke up at the beach. She looked around “Where am I, where is my palm?........... Where does these come from?........ I usually don’t have legs! Am I the only living coconut? I can’t be the only one, I won’t be alone.” Suddenly she heard a beautifully voice calling “Come here….. Come here” Coney went over the beach, she went after the voice, suddenly she stood in front of a very beautifully creatures. Coney was fascinated; she had never seen such a fish before. The fish looked at her “I’m a mermaid. I have seen creatures like you before” “Where, where?” “On my long swim around the island, I have seen many things. On the east side, I saw the most beautiful butterflies. On the north side, I saw big lions running on the beach. On the west side, I saw crocodiles sleeping in the water’s edge. But on the south side, I saw something, I never had seen before, I saw a paradise, where creatures like you, were swimming in the blue water.” “Really?” said Coney with big eyes. “Yes it’s true” said the mermaid, and swung away.
