Abstract This exercise is about the welfare states in Denmark and the United States. It includes the difference between the two welfare states, and how the new health care reform is going to affect the society in the USA. Denmark is a country with public benefits, which means that we can go to the hospital without paying. In the United States you have to pay for everything, which is not a good idea, because many Americans do not get the help they need, because they can not afford it. There are many reasons why it is so difficult to introduce
