Barak Obama background Barack H. Obama is the 44th President of the United States. Barak Obama was born in 1961 by an American mother and a Kenyan father. His upbringing was a middle-class upbringing in a strong family, who believed in hard work. After law school Obama worked as a civil rights attorney for eleven years in Chicago.
