Opsummering af 'Blessing and Amends'

The text is written by Aliza G, and she’s telling about an experience she have had in her life. The story begins when she’s eight.

She and some other pupils had strep throat, it had led to that she and two of her classmates had missed an entire week of work on a school project, so they were sent to the computer lab. While Aliza was logging of her account, her second-grade teachers log-in popped up on the screen. Aliza wanted to log-in on her teachers account, and learn some secrets about the teacher she secretly admired. Her and her classmates tried a number of passwords until the screen froze. They asked a teacher for help, when he saw what they have been up to, he tisked at Aliza and sent her back to her class. Ms. Giannopolous was at recess with the other students so the class was empty, and Aliza stole a koosh ball from Ms. Giannopolous.

At the evening Aliza had Shabbat with her family. Her dad blessed her and her sister, and Aliza felt like a sinner because of the stolen ball. Her dad had brought a CD home from Judaica, the CD reminded her of Ms. Giannopolous and Mr. Reynolds, so she decided to listen to it for hours before bed.
