Abstract To explain the changes that occurred in the gender and family relations I started started to explain the differences and consequences of the modern society and the post-modern society. It appeared that the reason for the society was changing was,, among other things, because of the rebellions, which took place in the 1960’s. The Wwoman’s Mmovement and the youth rebelled against the authorities and that the obsolete gender roles that were prevailing in the society. Subsequently I analysed some advertisement posters to show how this changing has reflected in advertisement, and it was distinct that women had changed character
