This study examines the concept of gender roles and gender equality, focusing on women’s participation in the sector of education and the sector of business and how the women managed to get to where we stand today.
The review of women’s fight for gender equality have been a bitter fight. But today the results can be seen by an improvement of the equality. Through the analysis of women attending in the education system and job market through statistics, we get a sense of how unequal the genders continuously are, despite of laws – for example the Equal Pau Act. But the equality is in a progress and many women continuous to fight for equal rights in many various departments. The discussion takes place in the aspect of to articles. Based on the discussion I can conclude that there are both positive and negative effects with women on the job market and in the Danish welfare state.
