The study investigates a Danish Literal period, which is named the romantic. This period contains another period, which is named biedermeier and this paper includes a short description of these periods. There is a commencing introduction and characterizations about these periods with a large focus on the formation thought in this time. Subsequently it continues with a presentation about a short story, which is written at that time and step forward a thorough analysis and a conclusion. Followed by this a presentation emerges about a period after the romantic The Modern Breakthrough and naturally, about the formation thought of this period. Next, there will be a summary of a book, named Niels Lyhne, which is written in The Modern Breakthrough approximately in 1971. There is a profound analysis of it. Accordingly there is a conclusion. This study ultimately provides a comparison. The result shows that the romantic was hugely influenced by the cultivation of idyll and the writers were highly affected by this. The writers give extreme expressions about the way of thinking at that time. In short there was a tremendously romantic atmosphere. This research shows that there has been different literature during those years. And this research shows the differences between the two before mentioned literal periods.
