William was surfing the net when suddenly it was there. The dream job. He grabbed his phone and started texting his mother. ”Hi mom, I just found the perfect job! It’s in the local barbershop and they are looking for a teenageboy to wash the customers hair, sweep the floor and clean the mirrors. It looks like a great job for me, and the salary is good. William”.
One hour later he received a text message from his mother saying: ”Hi William, unfortunately I’ll be a little late today, but the job sounds exciting. I definitely think you should send an application. Love mom”
He immediately started writing his application. He really put an effort into writing a good application, because he really wanted this job. When he was done he sent the application. He was so excited to receive an answer, that he could’nt sleep.
When he got home from school the next day, he checked his mail. The barbershop had replied to his application, and they wanted to see him as soon as possible. He texted his friend Alex and told him the good news. He ran out of the door and grabbed his bicycle. 10 minutes later he was at the barbershop ready to be interviewed. The owner of the barbershop Joe, told him about the job, the working hours and so on. During the interview William was in a good mood and had a possitive attitude. When the interview was done, he went home to tell his mother all about it.
