I have choose this fairytales, because i like the story, is a real princess story.

The author is a Danish poet and author, whit name Hans Christian Andersen, but people know him as H.C Andersen. Ha was born in 1805 in Odense, and died in 1875 in Copenhagen, where he also is buried. He never get married or had children. He has written around 215 different fairytales.

The story is about a prince who wants to get married, but the girl should be a real princess, so he travelled around the world to find the only one, but every time there was something wrong, so he returned home. A night there was a terrible storm outside, and suddenly there was a knock on the door. The old king open, Outside standing a girl, she look terrible from the rain, but she says she was a real princess. “well, we shall soon find out!” thought the king. The old king placed a pea at the bottom of the bed. Then he took twenty mattresses, put them on top of the pea, and after he took twenty eiderdowns upon the mattresses. In the morning they asked her how she had slept, “oh terrible, I have hardly closed my eyes all night” said the princess. I have lying on something hard, and I’m black and blue all over. Now they know that she was a true princess, because she had felt the pea. The prince took her as his wife, and the pea was taken to the museum.
