I have looked forward to this weekend, a nice weekend ind our cottage. A weekend away from my normal busy workday, and all the to do stuff I have. This is nice, really nice, like vacation for the whole family.

Martha has already packed the old bucket of a car, the only car with room enough for all of us. I stood up, took a bath and ate breakfast in front of the daily news. This week I had to drive us, like I haven't other things to do. I came with some comments on the drive, and Martha took them personally, I don't know why 'cause it was all about the car – not her. But the she fell asleep, typical Martha, she always relaxes when she has nothing to do and I'm doing it all for her. I have had a busy week and a lot of stuff to do, and still she relaxes, not me.

Finally we arrived to the cottage, Martha unpacked the car and in the meanwhile i made a fire, and almost went directly to bed. I had done a lot this day, so it was very easy to fall asleep. I woke up, 'cause our guests Colin and his girlfriend Katie came that night to visit us. A lovely surprise. We sat and talked about old times, over a whiskey, Katie was actually a fun girl. Not like Martha who never had the time for a good laugh, or Colin's old wife Jane who was just like Martha, boring. I was obviously that Martha didn't like the new Katie, she complained over every little thing she could find about Katie. They didn't bring a gift to us, Janet used to do that, and she didn't help in the kitchen, Janet used to do that. I don't think Martha knew there was a world outside the kitchen?!
