Day trip to Odense, Denmark

Dear Lewis.

I’m looking forward to seeing you and your family in the summer. I can’t really understand you are coming to Denmark, and I’m going to show you my country. It will be so exciting!

I have planned a trip for the first day;

We wake up at 8 AM and eat breakfast. I miss your mothers homemade English breakfast, and to drink tea with her the whole day. After breakfast we drive to Odense. Here in Denmark, you drive in the opposite side of the way than you do in England. In Odense we first shop in a center called Rosengaardscentret. When you are from Britain, you will probably think the center seems very small. There are many restaurants, so when we’re done shopping, we eat lunch in the center.

After we have eaten, we take the train to the more central part of Odense. In Odense there isn’t an underground like the tube in England, so we take the normal train.

I’m planning we are going to see H.C Andersen’s house. It’s located in the middle of Odense. I remember last time I was in England, your father read a book written by H.C Andersen himself. Therefore I think a visit to his house will be especially interesting for your father. I have chosen the H.C.A house, because he is like a logo for Denmark, and especially for Fyn. You and [NAVN B] might have learned something about him at the school?
