Williams lucky day

William was surfing the net when suddenly it was there. The dream job. He grabbed his phone and texted his best friend Alex. He suggested that they could meet each other at „Friendly’s“ later. William played football at the Manchester United football club, and had always dreamed about being a professional trainer. When he saw the page banner on the internet, for his own football club, he got so excited that he almost had stars in his eyes. He called the head office, but it wasn’t the boss who answered the phone, it was his secretary. She said that he could come for a job interview the same evening! He was so excited, and ran as fast as he could out the door, where his mother was about to fix the garden. She got happy too, because if he got the job, he could earn his own money, and she didn’t have to pay everything.3:00 PM, he was already out the door, and on his bike on the way to the head office of the football club. He could feel all the butterflies in his belly, as he came closer. When he came into the waiting room, he sat on a big, black sofa, and on his left side he had a lot of magazines. Because he was so nervous, he started to read some of them. It was pretty difficult, because his hands were shaking so much. Suddenly the door opened, and out came the women he spoke on phone with. She said: “The boss can be here every single minute. You just have to wait a few more minutes.” Then she closed the door again. It was the longest “few minutes” in Williams’s life! When the door finally opened again, it was a man, who presented himself as Malcolm Glazer. When William was inside, he closed the door behind him, and said that he should take a seat in the big black chair in front of the desk. After that, he asked why he wanted the job so bad, and why he should choose him. He said: “Because I love football more than anything else, and because I think I can learn someone else some cool tricks!” The boss looked like he was thinking.. “Hmm…” William’s heart was beating really fast! “Okay, you get the job. You will get your own jacket, your own sports bag, and your own ball… Congratulations!” He said. William was so happy! He could have kissed his new boss. As soon as he came out of the office, he called his best friend Alex and they decided to meet at “Friendly’s” in 10 minutes, so William could tell everything. When he came home, his mother had made his favorite dinner – beef and sauce! William had had a really lucky day.
