Pete's søgen efter forsvundne børn

Pete was getting ready to visit Zoe when his phone rang. Two kids had been reported missing in the mountains. Pete was a police officer and him and some of his colleagues went up in the mountains to find the kids. The first day wasn’t successful ‘cause they haven’t founded anything and the parents was started to panic and it became dark so they have to stop for today. Next day they once again went up in the mountains hoping that they would find the kids. Pete was keen and really hope that the kids would somehow appear soon. Pete and his colleagues came to a little hut and they knocked on the door to ask the owner some questions. “have you seen two young kids, a boy and a girl? They are missing and they were last seen in these mountains. It happened when the two kids and their parents was on a picnic in this area and the kids went into a little forest to collect pine cones and never came back. Do you know anything?” asked Pete. “No I’m sorry but I don’t have a clue where they are” answered the lumberjack. Pete and he’s colleagues continues to search for the kids. Pete is missing his girlfriend, Zoe and starts to write a message to her: “Been searching for two days now. Can’t give up. It’s getting dark. Pete” he can’t stop thinking what is happened to the two kids. Unfortunately was the second day without success too. The colleagues was tired and went home and Pete was of course also tired but he had to find the so he went to the middle of the forest where the kids was last seen and climbed on a top of a cliff. He tried to spot something from the top of the cliff. Pete saw that in the horizon there were some small streams so he climbed down and headed to the streams. It was a quite long walk but finally he made it. It was a silent and peacefully place. Pete had a sudden feeling that someone was near and indeed, there were a homeless guy on the other side of the stream but actually it was more like river ‘cause Pete have been walked by the water in a long time it had became wider and wider. “Hello there, have you seen two young kids?” and just the exactly same moment he noticed two cute and happy kids behind the homeless guys legs. It was obvious that they were kind of close to each other, just like a little family. Pete had a picture in his pocket of the two missing kids and clearly it was them. “It must be those two little toddlers here you are looking for. I met them the other day and took care of them because I could see they were in trouble. I’m sorry if I caused any trouble of some sort. But they are going with you officer so they can come again, I understand” said the homeless guy and looked down to the boy of the two kids and said “It’s time to say goodbye, son” and said to the girl “take care kid” Pete was touched by seeing them hugging goodbye. Pete took the kids and said goodbye to the helpful homeless guy and went to the town the kids lived in. Their parent relieved and very happy and now Pete could take home to his lovely Zoe.
