Teenage subkulturer: Goth og dens variationer

Hi. As we all know, our main topic is “Teenage Life” and our topic of choice is “subcultures.” A subculture is for example “Goth.” Goth is a big subculture, actually a lifestyle that came from another subculture named “Punk.” Goths often wear fully black clothes mixed with red colored or Scottish checkered clothes. They often wear skulls and have holes in their clothes. Goths also listen to their own kind of music. It’s a style of rock music with an intense blend of guitars, bass and drums, often with apocalyptic or mystical lyrics.

There is actually a lot of different kinds of Goth. There is the one I described just before named “Punk Goth”, there is Vampire Goth who is obsessed with Vampire stuff like sharp teeth and keeping away from the sun. Not literally staying inside until dark, but if they can, they would avoid the sun and get all pale in the skin. There is also Fetish Goth where they are obsessed with black leather and metal spikes. They always wear black and rarely other colors. A Third kind of Goth is “Cyber Goth”. This type of Goth is extremely easy to notice since they color their hair with screaming neon colors and might even color their skins that way. Some of them also wear Goggles, but Cyber Goths is actually rare in Denmark. They are mostly in Japan, Tokyo.
