Behind the glass

It was late night, when I was on my way home from the cinema. My two daugthers Zoe and Angelina was jumping around in the puddles with there new yellow and black wellies. It had been a long day for all of us, and it was about time to go home and get some sleep. When we arrived to the house, Zoe and Angelina went to bet, and I took a showet and then I also went to bed. The next morning I walked Zoe and Angelina to school. After walking the kids to school I went down to the local bar to ask if they had a vacance. When I arrived to the bar a beautiful lady sat on a chair with her laptop and was checking something out. I coughed to get her attention. She looked at me and then she asked “what are you doing here? It’s closed?”. Then I said “I’m looking for a job. I have poor vision but I am good at serving drinks and I am very social”. She looked at me and frowned. “Ok” she said “the job is yours”. I was so happy, and all the way home I sang. Already the next night I had my first guard in the bar. It was the best to work and meet new people! I loved my new job. I felt alive. I came home 6 o’clock the next morning. Luckily for me, had my former wife obtained a nanny for me. I knew that with this job, there was not much time to the children. But I really needed it! When the girls came home from school and I woke up, we sad in the livingroom drank hot chocolate and ate cookies. I felt like my life was perfekt. I had a job, and I had the cutest girls in the world! I was off that night, so i decided to do something nice and special with the girls. We went to the cinema to see a movie and have a nice family evening. The next evening I went to work at 9 o’clock. In the bar there was a good atmosphere until a man came over to me abot 3 o’clock. He was very drunk, and I had seen him several times in the bar. He wanted a shot with tequila. I gave him the shot, but then he started getting raally mad. “That was not tequila! It was smirnoff, and I hade smirnoff! What is the matter with you? Are you blinde or something?”. He shouted out in the bar that I could not see anything, and I was just a blinde idiot. The security guys came and threw him out of the bar. I was in chok! I went home right after, and that night, I could not sleep! I was scared. The next day I was too scared to go to work! I was scared that the man would come up to me again! A psychologist came to my house to talk. We talked for hours. The next day I was going to work again. I was scared for the man, but I needed to get back on track. I needed the job, because if I had the money, I could get glasses or even better, laser! I had to get over my fear!
