Velfærdsmodeller

Den skandinaviske velfærdsmodel er meget anderledes i forhold til andre modeller, da der er mange gratis ydelser, som betyder at man kan gå gratis i skole, på sygehus, få lægehjælp så kan man få gratis tandlæge ind til man er 18 år. Der er også mange sociale ydelser, som er bistandshjælp, førtidspension og efterløn, det er en stor del af den offentlige udgift i Danmark, som går til at hjælpe de svage i samfundet. Lige meget om man har været på arbejdsmarkedet eller bidraget med skat, så kan man stadigvæk få børnepenge og folkepension. Det også derfor man kalder den skandinaviske velfærdsmodel for en Universel model, det betyder at det gælder alle og ikke kun for dem der er ude på arbejdsmarked, som andre lande. Man har også et højt skattetryg, som gør at vi kan have alle de gratisydelser som vi har. Vi har også høj grad af om fordeling, som betyder at vi tager fra de rige og giver til de fattige, som også kan kaldes for en Robin-Hood model.
