Jeg vil gøre rede for mindste kvadraters metode herunder skal jeg bevis formlerne for bestemmelse af forskriftens konstanter ud fra hele måleserien I mit tilfælde, hvor min måleserie tilnærmes en lineær funktion. Jeg skal udføre et eller to forsøg. Jeg har valgt at se på sammenhængen mellem temperatur og tryk i en indespærret gas. Jeg har selv designet en forsøgsopstilling og lavet en forsøgsbeskrivelse, hvor jeg den udledte matematik. På baggrund af resultaterne opstiller jeg en model. Jeg vil derud over diskutere og vurdere metoderne og resultaterne.
Abstract
In this assignment I start with going through the method of least squares. This method is used to find the regulation for the line where the sum of squares of the points is minimized. I start with an example for this method, before I use it on my data. The data I have comes from an experiment, I have done. It based on the ideal gas law, where I only have temperature as my variable, and pressure as function of the temperature. I took spadix, and warmed it in a water bath. I put a stopper on the spadix and connected it to the barometer. I took the temperature outside the spadix not in it, which had given me a more accurate result. This is why it’s going to be a linear function. I used Excel to come with a function for this line, and I hope I will get the same. I came close to what Excel suggested; the deviation can come from that I don’t use all the decimals. On behalf of my data I can illustrate my results in some graphs. But my graphs do not hit the absolute zero, this may been caused by the tube that connected the spadix and the barometer, was only made by rubber, and therefore could expand a little. I can conclude, that this method can be the method that Excel uses, when you make and trend line on your data, and this method can be used in line with Excel.
