Placebo crack the code

Placebos in this movie can be many things. In this movie it’s mostly about placebos. Placebos can example be when a person is going to make a “fake” operation. The meaning with that is that doctors don’t really make a real sugary. But they don’t tell the patient that, because if the patient have a cloud that the operation went good then everything will be fine. That’s what some professors and doctors tell. An example can be Sylvester Colligan. In this movie they tell that he had a “knee operation”. But in real he got a placebo. The doctor only made something with a knife on the knee so it could look like the made an operation, but not really. But they didn’t tell Sylvester. So now his knee he got an operation and he is doing well. Before he got the “operation” he could barely walk. Now he is doing good maybe because he doesn’t know how he got operated.

Another kind of placeboes they talk about in this movie is about pills and medicine. It’s an example in this movie when they tell that doctors give pills to patients and tell them that it’s their medication. But in real the patients get a placebo. Because they patients don’t know that it’s a placebo they get and that the doctors have that attitude that everything will be well the patients will think that they are going to do fine. The doctors are also giving many placebos to patients. In the movie you also hear that once there was a group of people there was split in two. One of the groups is giving real medication and the other group is giving placebos. But none of them are told witch kind witch kind of pills they are giving, but only got told by their doctors that they should take the pills every day and when they have be to back again.
