My name is Maria, and I’m 14 years old. Right now I’m going at the government school in Vordingborg, Denmark. I like going to school, my favorite subject is probably social studios or maybe Danish. I also like math and religious studies, but I really hate the scientific subjects like life sciences or physics. In my spare time I hang out with my friends and family. I play guitar and love music. I also love reading, latest I have read a book called “The hiding place”. It’s a book about Ireland, and the conflict between IRA and Ulster Defence Association, also known as UDA. The book describes how IRA affects the local population.

I would love to spend a school year at Saint Daclans, because Ireland is an amazing and wonderful country with lots of memorable places. I think it’s a beautiful country with an exciting culture. The reason why I would like to go at your school is because I also would like to know more about Roman Catholics. I have never been devout, so I think it’s very exciting to see how you live.

I think you should choose me, because of my susceptibility. I’m not afraid of meeting new people or doing something completely different. Actually I like trying new things. I have never been in Ireland before, but my mom been there a few times, when she lived in England, so she have told me a lot about it.Ireland is an obvious choice for me. I have always been very interested in Ireland and all those different people who live there. It’s my dream to live there one day, maybe in Dublin or Cork.
