What is love? Love can be a lot of different things. Love can be shown in all sorts of ways. Love can be for a friend, a family member or a partner. Love is an important part of our lives.

Love has changed a lot in the reason years. If we look back about 10-20 years, the homosexuals were beaten and spit on in the streets. Lots of people disrespected the homosexuals just because of there sexuality. If we look back to before the 1800’s homosexuals were decapitated just because of their sexuality. So, because of that the Danish population felt forced to love a person of the other gender. The homosexuals tried to hide their relationships with people from the same gender. Most of the homosexuals were found and decapitated, this was the reality in the 1800’s. Fortunately it’s not that way today, people can love whoever they want to love. In these days it’s normal to love a person of the same gender, and most people respect the love of other persons. Although some people still disrespect them and think it’s wrong to love the same gender. As we see in the article some people do still end up as victim to homophobe’s beating other people for making sexual comments to their partner. The girl was pushed so she fell to the ground, after that they threw several punches and kicks at the girl, ending up in a broken nose and a chipped tooth. Fortunately, it’s getting better by the day, but there is still a long way until we have a society where homosexuals can live without fear.
