I would be very honored, if I ever got the chance to nominate a torchbearer. I would choose a person that could be a great inspiration to every person over the entire world. This man has bad background, but made it in the end. This man is my father.
He was born on October 31st 1972.
When he was 6 years old he started in school and he has been a troublemaker ever since. It was always him and his friends that started the fights or broke the windows at the school. Every time something bad happened in the town, everyone knew who it was.
When he was about 10 years old he started bicycling, and he was very good at it.
I think he was about 11-12 years old when his parents got divorced, and that took really hard on him. His father left them for another woman, and that is always hard.
Then when he turned 16-17 he had so many other things going around in his head than sport, for example: girls, alcohol and friends.
But he needed the sport, he just simply couldn’t live with out it. He just figured out that bicycling wasn’t really his thing after all, and that he was more to contact sports, because of his physique. He started going to judo, when he was 15 years old. And when he was 21 years old he became national champion. He was really good at it, but gave it up because his fiancé was pregnant with me. He was 26 at the time I was born.
