Steven Jensen: Nomination som fakkelbærer

I got a friend named Steven Jensen. He’s certainly appropriate and extremely committed.

He has been there for me every time I needed him, and he’ll always be there for me.

- He inspired and helped me, to do something I thought was impossible.

Before I moved from my hometown school, Englyst, he was there. I would define a bad student as a student who doesn't try to learn and doesn't care and just being really careless, lazy, and doesn't even try to learn. I was that student, until I met him, and we became friends. We talked about the future. What kind of opportunities a good grade would give us. He manipulated me, motivated me. He transformed me from being a lazy student, to being a targeted and engaged student.

Friends will come and go in your life, but more important than how long a friendship lasts, is the fact, that a good friend will love you, for who you are. The way you can tell the sign of a good friend is by looking at the actions they take –big and small – that shows, they care. In my eyes that is, what is called a real friend, and I can confirm, that he is one of those friends.
