The article "Former Madison magazine editor Lizzie Renkert says losing her job has made her life better" is about a woman who has lost her job as an editor because the magazine she worked on, closed. She has a little daughter and she talks about how she gave too much of herself by working on the magazine. She talks about how she putted her health at risk, because she did not had the time to exercise and sometimes she didn't even had time for lunch because of the big pressure she was through. Even though she loved to work on the magazine, and was in a kind of "depression-mode" because of losing her job, she says that she learned a lot from it. She had learned that she will never again let herself feel bad about showing her emotions on the job and she hopes that every women will show their emotions even if it's hard.

When she had the chance, she went another way because her friends chose other more glamorous and better paid careers, like lawyers and doctors. Even though she tried other ways, she could not forget her dream of become a writer. She ended up following her dream and starts to have faith in herself. Now she's a fulltime writer and tutor. She concludes that no matter what - everyone has to follow their dreams.
