Adolf Hitler var en af de ondeste ledere i menneskehedens historie. En af hans drømme var at gøre Tyskland til det mægtigste rige i verden. Men denne drøm førte til en krig i hele verden og kostede 30.000.000 mennesker livet alene i Europa og både Tyskland og Europa blev lagt i ruiner samt med at Tyskland blev delt i to. Hitlers had til jøder, kommunister og sigøjnerne førte til en organiseret folkemord på 6.000.000 mænd, kvinder og børn.
Hans had til kommunismen førte bagvendt til at kommunisterne i mange fik magten i store dele af Europa frem til 1990´erne.
Den første halvdel af sit liv var Hitler en taber. De meget få mennesker han kendte personligt, så ham som en mislykket kunstner, det var tosset til at tro at han ville en dag være berømt. Hitler var hverken veluddannet eller rig, han havde aldrig rejst nogle steder og han snakker kun tysk. Men han var i stand til at gøre politik på verdensplan og han kunne lede Tyskland ind i den dejlige fremtid.
