…Nevertheless, like any other day I got out of my bed. My body was sore from the night before where I was out motorcycling, but against all odds, I stood up, took my favorite jeans on, my hoodie, did my hair and went down stairs to my mom. She had prepared me some breakfast: eggs, sausages and fresh made bread. I ate it all up and went to school.
Normally I ride my bike, but today I had a flat tire, so I decided to take the bus. Later at class, our first class was with Mr. Winnich, “ugh” I thought to myself as I was walking in. Mr. Winnich had me off guard and startled me: “good morning Mr. Taylor, did we sleep well?” He always made the same joke repeatedly about my jeans, how there always was a grease spot the same place, and I kept saying that it was stuck there because it burned in the fabric from at a barbecue my father held about a year ago. Later I was sitting in the cafeteria alone at a table in the left corner. I was always alone at lunch.
Later I got home, but nobody was home. It occurred very strange to me, because my mom was usually home when I got home. I began to search the home , but she were no way to find. At the end, I gave up and decided to call her cellphone. It rang and rang, but there was no one to pick it up. I found it very strange and I started looking in the garden and in the treehouse, but still no mom to find. In the end, I was starting to get worried. I went up to my room and called my dad to tell him that I could not find mom anywhere. The phone rang three times before he picked up, I told him the news and he thought that I was very strange as well, but he thought that we should wait a little to see if she would turn up. By the evening, my dad came home from work, but still my mom had not turned up yet. Suddenly we heard a strange noise from the attic. We went up there, opened the door, and went up the stairwell, and there my mom was, trapped behind a bookcase because it fell down a little before I came home earlier. We got her out and put her to bed so she could rest on the accident. Then I did my homework and went to bed. And all I could think of was: what a strange day.
