Dear Rasmus. As promised i now writing a summing up of my ?rst week in the American school system. Until now it have been great to experience the way, the much different way to teach in US than in Denmark. I really like the way that we are learning, the teachers just give me more con?dence. I really believe in my self. Whenever. At monday i´m having math 8:30 to 10:30. I just forgotten that we here in the US our school day, ?rst start at 8:30. Thats one of the many thing i really like, in this school system. Back to math. Math starts every monday i room 243, i had a bit of a problem the ?rst day, to ?nd the classrooms, but i found a sweet girl, who followed me all the way to my math lesson, even when her lesson even was started in room 102, which is the complete opposite direction. At that moment i really feel that i´m belong here, i´m not just the new guy, some people really care about me. When i took in door handle to the class, i could hear that, the hole class room, got complete silence. And i took the ?rst step into my new classmates. Then the teacher looked at me, smiled, ``Come in, come in. Everbody. This is Mikkel. Mikkel are joining us for this year. Take a seat´´ All looked at me, but with a smile on there libs. Some girls were pretty, some was´nt. Some guys looked like they should, rob a bank or something, some was dressed nice in white shirts and the there were the normal ones, like me. I really want to tell you about the architecture at the school. It´s build so no-one can ?nd there way out, or in. it´s so dif?cult. You can´t imagine how hard it is to navigate around this school. But i have found my locker once, without help from anybody. Of course, it´s different. when my head touches my pillow at, nearly night. I´m so exhausted that even if i had won a million dollar. I would not be able to smile. I´m really glad that i got this chance to development my self and my kompetencens. Specially because i really want to make a carrier as a commander or something, of my own team in a international company. Like Monjasa, Maersk or maybe in the American business. Who knows?
