Michael Moore Sets out to explore the reasons behind the massacre of 12 students and a teacher at Columbine High School on April 20, 1999. He doesn’t understand how two students, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, easily acquired guns, despite of having histories of arrests, juvenile detention, counseling sessions, and drug depend0encies. He documents how the U.S. has ended up as the country with the highest number of gun related killings on Earth. Michael Moore sought for an explanation to why there were so many murders in the United States. The reasons that people came up with were not valid reasons at all and Moore disproved them all in his documentation. Moore eventually came to the conclusion that America is more violent because of the news and media.

He is a member of the NRA, but he is also for gun and ammunition control. When he goes to visit the leader of the NRA he asks him to apologize for holding NRA rallies just weeks after the shooting at columbine. He wanted him to feel guilty for the lives of those that were lost. He talked about Canada and the difference between their violence rates and Americas. Canada has more guns than USA but far less murders. Moore actually went door to door to prove that in Canada they leave their doors unlocked. He said that if he did that here in America he would get shot.
