We were on holiday. It was in England, and we lived in a very weird house. The house was like a boat. We lived there in 2 weeks, and I guess it was one of my best holidays. The reason why we went on a holiday like this is because my father was an old skipper, and my mom was the housekeeper on his ship. My grandfather had also his own ship when he lived.
We went to the boat house called Encinitas. The boat was furnished like a real boat. It was not beds we slept in, it was a hammock. When we eat, we sat outside on the port of the boat. The window in the room was also like on a boat, it was just a circle which not can open.
It was a funny experience to try to live like a sailor on a boat. There was not much you can do on a boat. You haven’t TV or computer. You just have your bed and some tables you can sit on, and that’s it.
We lived near the water, so we could go to the beach and have fun there if we want to. It was not like living in a normal house, it was really like living on a boat.
