Task A: Write a summary of the video “Distracted Driving, killing more American Teens”.

The main subject of this video is distracted driving and what kind of damage it can cause. First, we are shown a police officer (Thomas Dydone), who lost his son Ryan Dydone, in a car accident back in 2008. Ryan was 15 years old and one out of four occupants who got involved in the car crash. The driver, lost control over the car and went directly into a tree. Ryan died, as the only one. Something about which guy is responsible for the accident.

Second, we hear about, more than 4000 teenagers lose their lives due to distracted driving every single year. Secretary Ray La Hood, from the US department of transportation is calling it an epidemic. He says, to many American teens think they are able to drive safely while they are texting… But they are not. In the end of the video we are shown some different test of a teenager driving. The tests indicate some differences on the safety of driving with and without distraction. At last, we are shown some commercials based on distracted driving.
