Forrest Gump, filmresume

The movie is about a man, named Forrest Gump. In the beginning Forrest sits on a bench and tell the people, that comes and goes, how his life had been. His story begins, when he was a child and didn’t have any friends. But one day, in the school bus, when nobody wanted Forrest sitting next to them, a girl said to him that he could sit next to her, her name was Jenny and she became Forrest’s best and only friend.When Forrest was a little boy, he had braces on his leg and all the other kids made fun of that. Forrest wasn’t the smartest boy, so for him to get in school, his mom had to sleep with the headmaster. And she did, because she would do anything for her son, and she didn’t want him to feel that he was different from other children. Then one day a miracle happens, when some boys are throwing rocks at Forrest, Jenny told him to run and when he did the braces on his legs splints and he ran like “normal”. Forrest and Jenny stayed best friends though high school and college, where Forrest play football (he came on the All American team and he meet the president). Jenny went to a college only for girls, but Forrest came to visit her sometimes. After 5 years, he got his degree and then Forrest joined the military, where he got some new friends. One of them was Bubba, he taught Forrest everything there was to know about shrimps and he also meet Lt. Dan Taylor. While Forrest was in the army, was Jenny in some trouble, she had been kicked out of school, because there was a picture of her, in a magazine called Playboy. Forrest had been sent to serve at the Vietnam-war, but before he leaved, he said goodbye to Jenny and promised her to write every day. In Vietnam Forrest became a hero, because he saved some soldiers when they were under attack (his good friend Bubba died there) and he got a medal from the president. Forrest was shot in his bottom and went to the hospital, here he taught to play Ping-Pong, he became so good that he got famous and played on the All American Ping-Pong Team in China. After some time, when Forrest has been on tv, he meets Lt. Dan again, and Dan was different, he was all angry and bitter, didn’t care much about anything. Forrest spended Christmas and New Year with Dan and they talk about old times. In the meantime had Jenny been hooked on drugs and she thought about to commit suicide. Forrest had bought a shrimpboot and was the captain on it, Lt Dan was 1. man. In the beginning they didn´t caught any shrimps, but after a big storm, were all the other boots didn´t make though only Forrest´s boot, they caught plenty of shrimps and that´s how Forrest started the company “Bubba/Gump shrimps”. Forrest earned millions by this company. He gave Bubba´s family a share of the money and he gave some money to a church and a hospital. When things was doing very well for Forrest, he got some bad news, his mother was sick and she dying. Before she past away, she told Forrest about life and he never forgot what his mother had taught him. Forrest was now taking care of his mother’s house and then one day Jenny came by to see him. They had a good time and talked about the many things that had happed in their life. Forrest felt like all were back to normal, the way it used to be, they even sleeped togehter and Forrest thought that now they were gonna be together forever. But the next morning Jenny left. After she left Forrest just felt like runing, so he did and he ran for 3 yaers, 14 days and 16 hours. Many people looked up to Forrest, some even ran with him. One day he just didn´t feel like runing any more and he went home to Alamama. (All this is flashback that Forrest tell at the bench and then it returns back to the movies reality) Forrest had got a letter from Jenny and that´s why he is sitting at the bus stop telling his story, but a lady tell him that he doesn´t have to take the bus, because the adress on Jenny´s letter isn´t that far away. Forrest says goodbye to the lady and runs of to see Jenny. Forrest and Jenny are now reunited again and Forrest finds out that they got a son together and his name is Forrest junior. Forrest and Jenny gets married, but before that Jenny tell Forrest that she is sick, she says it´s a virus and the docktor´s don´t know what it is. Jenny died not long after the wedding, so now Forrest was left alone with Forrest jr. and they love each other and lived on with their lives. And here ends the story of Forrest Gump.
