When we talk about being teased or bullied, I think that there is a limit. People need to learn about the so-called limit. If everybody knows where and when that limit is being crossed, bullying would not be such a huge problem in our everyday life. I think that one crosses the limit, when the victim who is getting teased is facing unwanted aggressive behavior, which could turn into actions like threats, spreading rumors or even attacking someone either physically or mentally.
Bullying has always been a big problem among teenagers and it still is. About a quarter of all the teenagers in the U.K says that bullying not only is affecting their social welfare, but that it is affecting their grades too. According to the statistics, 56% of the bullied students express that they feel like it is affecting their whole education. Furthermore, studies have shown that the victims tend to get lower grades, often D or even less (GSCE scale). I see the chocking data as a vital dilemma for U.K’s future if the teenagers keep deriving the attention they get instead of thinking about their school and education. But the teenagers also express, that the bullying is affecting other things and not their grades alone. Studies show among other things, that one in three of the victims move on to harming themselves (self-harm) - 10% of those one in three even tried to kill themselves. I think that it is completely outrageous and we need to make it stop.
