As the manager at the local Tesco I hold a lot of responsibility. It is my job to make sure that everything every thing runs smoothly everyday. I have a lot of work to do, such as making sure every product is up to date, making sure that every shipment of fresh products are delivered to us and that they are signed. I am also responsible for every penny we earn, and securing that no cash is missing. About 2 months ago I was the main witness of a robbery in my own store.
It was an ordinary day at work. The usual procedure. Costumers are welcome from 08:00-23:00. This means I have to meet at 13:00 but I need to stay until closing, because I am the one responsible for closing the shop. The day goes by and at approximately 22:50, two young men enter the shop. They wander around for while, round and round everywhere in store, looking around very suspiciously. I immediately notice their special behavior, not to mention, they both carried 2 medium sized sports bags.
It has become 23:00 and I kindly ask the two men to finish looking around, and then leave the store. They both look me straight in the eyes. They had a mean facial expression on their faces. They looked at each other quickly, blinking to each other, and in a split of a second they both reached into their bags and pulled out a large baseball bats.
